Many people fly to Bali to enjoy its beautiful beaches and to unwind. However, if you are a more adventurous visitor, it also has several exciting sights, one of which is Ijen! It's a volcano complex that creates hypnotic blue flames from ignited sulfuric gas that seeps through its fractures. You can join this activity with us for a hassle-free hiking at Ijen, and we will have everything ready for you! You will be picked up from your accommodation, escorted by an expert trekking guide, and all payments and permissions will be taken care of! All you have to do is pack your personal gear and meals and prepare to be amazed by the blue fires once you arrive to the crater! A brief break at a local coffee farm is also included, allowing you to recover and unwind before returning home.

Absolutely amazing experience! You will get your own guide for your party. He’ll pick you up from your hotel and stay with you until he brings you back the next day. Our guide Rei was awesome. You will stop at several stunningly beautiful places along the way. Our guide spoke English pretty well and explained things throughout the trip. Bali people are extremely nice and most know English well enough to communicate with you. The home stay was really wonderful. The host had an authentic Indonesian meal for us when we arrived. The room was very nice with two beds and a shower. You’ll get just enough rest to make the hike. The hike is pretty challenging and I am an Ironman triathlete. You need to be in good physical shape. It’s very steep and rocky. If you have bad knees, back or ankles I don’t recommend. There are some amazing Bali people who will help you up or down with a rickshaw wagon (Lamborghini:) for a fee. Hiking boots definitely helped. A hiking stick, a light jacket, pants or leggings, water, and a few snacks I recommend. The blue fire itself is pretty awesome. It’s an amazing experience and so glad we did this!

Both the driver, Rei, and guide, Supri, were great. It was a long journey to get there but it was worth it. The stops on the way helped to break it up a bit and we slept in the car on the way back. The home stay was okay. I would recommend wearing walking boots and bringing tissues and hand sanitiser with you. The treck was amazing and timed perfectly with sunrise. I would highly recommend.

Our driver Gusti and our guide Rudi did an excellent job. Gusti was very organized and engaging leading up to the trip, and made the drive very comfortable. Rudi showed us all the best spots along the hike, and helped us to take amazing pictures. It's not the easiest hike, but so having a great guide helped!
