Pros: - Tude is an excellent guide, professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and helpful - Private car to go your own pace - Tude knew best circuit to avoid crowds and was always flexible with scheduling - Good excursions to woodworking shop, coffee and tea tasting, water temple (tirta empul) with opportunity to join in purification ritual, and rice paddies Cons: - Batik excursion was more a shop than anything; nobody explained process or wanted to. They just handed us a piece of paper and told us to go to shop - Silversmith and painting excursions were nice to see, but a bit overwhelming with amount of products exhibited. Similar paintings available more cheaply in ubud market - Waterfall excursion would have been good if given opportunity to go into water. Unfortunately during rainy season the water is more likely to be muddy and off limits - Lunch is on your own time. Restaurant is underwhelming, but that’s not why you choose the package in fairness. Nice birds and ambience though Overall, would recommend and worth it for price.
