Bongeunsa Temple, Seoul, South Korea Bongeunsa is a Buddhist temple founded in 794 during the Silla (one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea) period. The temple has more than 1,000 years of history and has many interesting historic and cultural features, including woodblock carvings of the Avatamsaka Sutra (Flower Garland Sutra). The temple is also a very popular tourist destination, offering various programs relating to traditional Korean Buddhist culture, in a variety of languages.
Visitors can experience some simple Buddhist practices such as the daily dawn service, Korean Zen meditation, Dado (a tea drinking ceremony), and Balwoogongyang (a Buddhist meal with traditional bowls). Every May on Buddha's birthday, Bongeunsa holds the Lotus Lantern Festival on nearby Samseong-dong.

Starfield COEX Mall, Seoul, South Korea Coex Mall reopened on November 27, 2014 after the completion of a large-scale renovation. World-renowned architectural firm Gensler worked to create a vision for change largely centered around a concept called "The Unfolding Sky." With five uniquely-themed squares, the new Coex Mall was designed to receive optimal amounts of natural light and optimize the flow of foot traffic. Coex mall is a shopping mecca for global brands in fashion, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, and more. It also has a large movie theater complex and a wide variety of fine dining establishments. 40 minutes
Seolleung & Jeongneung Royal Tomb, Seoul, South Korea The Seonjeongneung is the burial grounds of two Joseon Dynasty kings and one Joseon queen. The westernmost tomb belongs to King Seongjong (1469–1494), the ninth king of the Joseon dynasty. His wife, Queen Jeonghyeon (1462–1530), from the Yun family, is buried here. Her grave has a stone fence encircling the mound, whereas her husband's tomb, on the left, has a retaining wall as well. Statues of civilian and military officials and their horses stand at attention in front of the graves. Queen Jeonghyeon had a deep interest in Buddhism and founded the nearby temple Bongeunsa.
The other tomb on the site is Jeongneung tomb, located at the easternmost of the site. This is the burial ground of King Jungjong, the 11th king of Joseon (1506–1544). Those Royal tombs of Joseon Dynasty are UNESCO World heritage. This Seolleung and Jeongneung Royal Tombs is closed on every Monday. So, if you want to visit this tomb, please book the other day.

Gangnam Underground Shopping area, Seoul, South Korea Gangnam Underground Shopping center is the best shopping place for women especially 20s and 30s. The mall is located in Gangnam Station of Seoul Subway Line 2, and consists of all the latest fashion trends. It is also an ideal place to just browse the shops to keep up with the so-called "Gangnam Style." .The area around Gangnam station is the place like youth’s hangout. There are many shops like cosmetics, clothing, shoes, accessory and bars, cafes, clubs. Because of its fame, many young tourists visit this place. So, this place became the place for youths. We will browse this area, and we will have a traditional Koreans foods with Korean rice wine(Makgeolli) at a restaurant in this area. 90 minutes
Kwangjang Market, Seoul, South Korea Kwangjang market is Korea’s first commercial market. This market opened in 1905. Originally, Namdaemun market was the biggest traditional market until early 1900s, but Japanese occupied Namdaemun market by Japanese’s invasion to Korea, so Korean merchants opened Kwangjang market for Koreans in 1905 to compete Japanese Namdaemun market. In the early of this market, major products were agricultural products, but nowadays, there are many kinds of products including fashion items, especially Gwangjang market has become famous as eating place to taste various street foods at cheap price. From about 10 years ago, many foreigners began to visit this market and became famous. This market is one of the famous tourist attractions in Seoul. The typical street foods are Kimbap, Soondae, Nokduejeon(Korean pancake made with mung beans), Yukwhe(beef sashimi)and etc.. we will taste various kinds of street foods for dinner here. 90 minutes

Mr Bergen Park was a good guide.
Unfortunately, he did not inform us that beforehand that two (2) of the included attractions were closed on that day Monday.
We could have re-scheduled. This tour was definitely over-priced.

This was the best way to explore the city on foot. It was a great blend of culture and sights. Bergen was fantastic! Highly recommend.
