Enjoy this morning half-day tour that will introduce you to the historical heritage of Seoul.     Jongmyo Shrine is where the ancestral tablets of the kings and queens of the joseon Dynasty are enshrined. The Jongmyo Memorial Service has been held since the establishment of the Dynasty 600years ago commemorating the monarchs of the Dynasty. **As Jongmyo Royal Shrine is closed on Tuesday, you will visit Insadong Antique shop alley instead.

  • Changdeokgung Palace, Seoul, South Korea
    Changdeokgung Palace was the second royal villa built following the construction of Gyeongbukgung Palace in 1405. It was the principal palace for many kings of the Joseon Dynasty, and is the most well-preserved of the five remaining royal Joseon palaces. The palace grounds are comprised of a public palace area, a royal family residence building, and the rear garden. Known as a place of rest for the kings, the rear garden boasts a gigantic tree that is over 300 years old, a small pond and a pavilion. **As Changdeokgung Palace is closed on Monday, you will visit Gyeongbokgung Palace on Monday.

    you will visit Cheongha Korea Ginseng. Ginseng is first mentioned in “Ji Jiu Zhang” during Han dynasty of China as herb used widely in the orient for so many diseases and ailments. It is a plant which had been regarded as a panacea, a cure all. In the studies, Korean ginseng shows best performances in adaptogenic properties.

Our tour guide picked us up at 8:15am and told us it usually goes until about 12:30pm with four stops...we were done at 11:30am. There was four stops and while they were all fun, interesting places to visit, we felt very rushed. We did not have time to look around, let alone shop or read information. Our tour guide was walking very quickly and while she gave us a lot of information, most of it interesting, we don't think we got our money's worth since it was so fast. Our experience was not what we were hoping it would be
