Our family of three, with adult daughter, were lucky to end up on a private walking tour with Ms. Sen due to no-shows. Being a small group was good on a Friday night, due to weekend crowds on Daehakro and Kwangjang Market. Ms. Sen was a fun, informative and lively guide, who led us on a brisk walk to the beautifully lit buildings of Changgyeong Palace, bustling Kwangjang Market and serene Jyogesa Temple, looking festive in preparation for Buddha’s birthday. The jeon and makgeolli in an upstairs dining hall in Kwangjang Market were a welcome and delicious snack break. We are all glad we chose this tour.

The feeling of quiet Changgyeonggung was so grand that it was heartbreaking. I almost cried when I heard the sad story of Changgyeonggung that the guide told us. The historical stories of Korea are always interesting and sad.

I had an incredible time on the Tour. Our guide, Ms. Saira, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, making the tour even more enjoyable. Highlights included visiting Changgyeonggung Palace, trying Makgeolli and assorted Jeon at Gwangjang Market, and wandering through Ikseon-dong Hanok Street. The tour ended at the serene Jogyesa Temple, which was a perfect way to conclude the evening.
