Sesame Place Philadelphia Admission Ticket

Sesame place should be renamed to Oscar's dump pile... someone purchased the licensing to Sesame Street and really let themselves go. This place claims to be kid friendly . Staff are unpleasant and are not able to answer basic questions. My favourite was the parking attendant who expected me to give him my credit card PIN rather than pass me the terminal to see what he was charging me for... We were forced to purchased the 'food' because you are not allowed to bring your own in... it was the cost of premium food but tasted like vomit in a wrap and we had to beg for tap water for our kids as there is no where to fill up water bottles... If you like the feeling of being ripped off this place is for you. Otherwise let your kids enjoy Sesame Street and avoid this place.

Took a bunch of small children and my family there and spent over 330.00 on tickets and over 100.00 in food. When we got there all the slides for the children were closed but one in the entire park. we decided to take them to the lazy river since none of the kids rides slides were open and it was extremely not. When we got to the lacy river (about 11:30 am) the water was filthy. there were water chips and dirt floating everywhere as if their filtration system was not on. I called customer service the next day and waited over 27 min for my call to be picked up, another 15 min to explain my situation and then transferred to their manager who according to her, her name is Amoy and after explaining my situation yet again she then hung up on me. the biggest disappointment of a water parl. Save your money and time and head elsewhere with your money. Not to mention they ruined the kids summer day which cost a lot for absolutely nothing.

We were here about 5 years ago during the week and it was a positive experience. Today...not so much. We went on a Sunday and we waited for over a half hour just to get inside the park. That was the shortest line we waited in. The place was PACKED. Most rides were anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours to wait without the fast pass. They would let the entire fast pass line on first, which filled about 3/4 of the rides before letting anyone from the regular queue in. There was major line cutting going on and the whole place just felt like it was a free for all. (So the naturally selfish and pushy crowd could really shine here.) Crowd behavior was awful, and as other reviews have mentioned, the place had a very ghetto feel. In general, amusement parks with fast passes just make it a worse vibe, but it was especially apparent here. If you want to be able to do more than a few rides in 8 hours, then I suggest spending an extra $100+ on top the already expensive ticket per person just to not be angry all day. It is unfortunate, because when we were here on a weekday several years ago, it was so much better. That's why I rated it 2 stars instead of just 1.
