We really enjoyed the wine tour. Our guide, Hugo, discribed the history and country side of Portugal , the first winery was outstanding, the tour and how they did the tasting was first class. This lunch was interesting having a Portuguese fish lunch , wish we had more time to explore the village. We then traveled to an only church next to the ocean. The next winery was very old and made you feel that you were in an 1900s winery with the old barrels of wine, the tasting seemed too rushed, but we did have time to sample the wines.
If you are lucky enough to have Hugo as your guide he will make the tour great. He is friendly fluent in English and seems to be able to answer any question. By the end of the tour you felt like you were being taken around by an old friend.
