While in Seville we took a walking tour of Triana, the neighborhood where the "undesirables" lived (Moors, Jews, Gypsies). Our guide (of the English group) Adela was very knowledgeable, and had a number of informative anecdotes to share with us.
We certainly hit the high points including the Mercado, the chapel for the mariners, starting with the "Torre de Oro."
Our only criticism was that there was a little too much standing and listening and not enough actual walking for the time available.
I would highly recommend seeing this aspect of Seville, thereby avoiding the crush of tourist in the downtown near the Cathedral, Alcazar, etc..
