  • The Rock of Gibraltar
    The Rock of Gibraltar is full of interesting history dating back to the year 711A.D when Tarik Ibn Zeyad, a Berber leader of the Arab Governor of North Africa “Musa Ibn Nosseyer” landed at the Southern end of the rock. The word Gibraltar is a derivative of the Arabic words ”Jebel Tarik” which means Tariks Mountain, and so his memory lives on.

    Saint Michael's Cave is a series, or network of caves made of limestone, which are found on the Rock of Gibraltar. St Michael's Cave is located on what is called the Upper Rock, inside the Upper Rock Nature Reserve of Gibraltar and sites at a height of well over 300 metres above sea level.

The tour give us a good idea of the country. We would appreciate the have less free time and shorter visit with the monkey. We missed War Tunnel and Hercule's beam a must to see....Michael's cave is very nice and be sure to chose a tour with that option. Very interesting guide from Spain but the guide on GIbraltar Rock was on a rush and passed very fast on rock's historical site. Best tour for Gibraltar

Our guide Petra was excellent. She was knowledgeable and fun. Difficult job when some did not sort their passport requirements out properly causing us to lose time. Interesting trip. Good stops for ‘convenience’ breaks. The caves were amazing

We had a great day touring Gibraltar. The process of clearing customs was very smooth and timely. It was interesting to walk across the airport runway on the way to the town. The best part of the trip was seeing Africa and the monkeys. We saw many monkeys and were even able to get a picture with them. It’s a long day but well worthwhile. Would definitely recommend!!
