    We will start our Tour from Tirana at 06:00 . After the breakfast on the way the first attraction is Komani lake . It was formed when the rugged Drini valley was dammed in the early 1970s, allowing Albania to quickly develop its own industrial base and become an energy exporter. We start the boat trip , who passes between 1000-1500m-high mountains and through a series of deep gorgeous and interconnected lakes, with hardly any signs of human activities on the shores . The way to Shala river is 1h 30 min by boat and the same time back .

    Shala’s River is a touristic destination that is described by many visitors as the most beautiful pearl of Koman’s lake, as Thailand of Albania . The hazy color of water and it’s crystal clean water is characteristic of this river. The steep huge rocks, worn by trees and green plants, seem to rise to the sky to protect this beauty that so generously mother nature has offered to our eyes and hearts. Don’t forget to bring your swimming suits with you as some of us will dare to swim in this paradise so called the Albanian Thailand. We get back on the boat to Komani Damn at around 15:30 pm. From here we drive back to Tirana after a long but unforgettable experience.

Our guide was bledi- absolutely amazing guy!! Made everyone feel welcome, told us some history on our bus journey which just made it so much better then looking out the window in silence. Sadly, the weather did stop us from going all the way to shala river HOWEVER, bledi still took us as far as the shallow water would allow the boat go, we got out and explored some caves and stopped off at the restaurant. Bledi really pulled it out of the bag for us, kept in high spirits all day. Had everyone laughing. Was happy to discuss anything!! And answer any questions you ask. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!! BOOK WITH BLEDI!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. Top guy!!

Wonderful experience with our tour guide Bledi Nuzi who made sure we had a great time on the trip through Shkoder and Shala river while guiding us through the historical knowledge, society and people of this wonderful place. It is really nice, beautiful and an awesome place to visit. I Recommend 100% +more!!

Leuke dagtrip vol in de natuur onder begeleiding van een spontane gids (Blidi). Enige nadeel is de reis er naartoe. Om 5u 's morgens vertrekken en na 20u 's avonds aankomen. Boottocht is aangenaam in het mooie landschap, al worden de bootjes soms helemaal volgepropt. Ter plaatsen zijn er een paar activiteiten, maar blijken niet altijd open te zijn. Dus je kan er vooral iets eten en drinken, doch eveneens beperkt. Uiteindelijk dus zeer lange dag om maar 3 uurtjes ter plaatsen te zijn.
