Spend quality time with your guide to explore different chambers of the temple, marvel at the two fabulous buddha statues that is known in the world for the pure Jade from Burma as well as other impressive arts and relics. Get great learning about the locals go about their religious culture, custom. Next sit down in the tranquil chamber of the temple and then enjoy the peaful time experiencing the traditional chinese calligraphy by writing the " heart sutra" from the wisdom of Buddism. After the great experience you will be droped off back to your hotel or other downtown area as per your request.

I had an amazing experience on the 3-Hour Shanghai Jade Buddha Temple Tour with Calligraphy Experience. Shirley, my guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating insights about the temple's history and culture. Her enthusiasm and expertise truly made the tour unforgettable. The calligraphy session was a unique and enjoyable touch, adding depth to the cultural experience. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Shirley as your guide!

I booked this tour through Expedia. The calligraphy was unfortunately not available (not reopened since COVID). But they immediately contact me to arrange a substitute. A French concession tour was added instead. I did the tour in French, with Brigitte. She picked me up at my hotel and we used a Didi. We started with the Fuxing park. It was fantastic meeting local people making me trying their activities. Having a local guide is always easier to translate and request things, ask questions... We continued the tour in the ex French concession and end up in the fancy neighborhood of Xin Tian Din. Then we took another Didi to the Jade Buddha temple. I decided to stay at the temple longer after the tour. So I didn't used the return to my hotel. Brigitte was super nice, friendly, knowledgable and it was nice to talk and exchange with her. She didn't look at the time as it took more than the expected 3hrs. Also, Brigitte was always to take pictures. She shared with me after the visit plenty of nice pictures and videos of my experience. It was a lovely spring day and a great visit!
