    Meet your Nanjing Guide at train station and start the tour by visiting Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen(father of modern China). It is is a must visit place in Nanjing. Hike to the top of the purple mountain, learn about the China's history in 20th century, appreciate the elegant design of the mausoleum, have a panoramic view of the city, and close up look of mausoleum itself.

    If you like, visit the Confucius temple, See how people worship the great educator and philosopher in the temple, taste the local snacks on the old street. If time allows, take a 50 minutes boating along the mother river Qinhuai River through the old buildings. If you have been to some of the attractions above, you also can visit some other attractions below: • The Memorial of the Nanjing Massacre • Presidential Palace of Nanjing • Nanjing Museum • Xuanwu Lake • Purple Mountain • Jiming Temple After your tour is finished, take another bullet-train ride back to Shanghai, where your driver gets you back to your hotel.

    A full day from Shanghai to Nanjing. Fascinating insight into history and modern China. Lunch was a highlight. Guides were excellent. Highly recommended.

    Het was een prima tour naar Nanjing; een van de hoogtepunten van onze Chinareis. Zoals van viator gewend: punctueel, value for money. Gids Fred was uitstekend, evenals het eten! Volgende keer weer Viator!

    We had a meaningful day at Nanjing. Our guide Fred is very knowledgeable and converse with us in both Mandarin and English. The kids got to practice their mandarin with him. Although the time was short, we got to see the 3 important landmarks in Nanjing (Confucius temple, Ming City Gate and Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum). Its easy and comfortable from the time Our Shanghai guide picked us up from our hotel to the way back. Nanjing was expecting heavy rain but we were lucky that it was cloudy with light drizzle. Overall, this trip gave us an insight of what Nanjing has to offer, culture, arts and a lot of history. Alana and her team are great.
