We had a wonderful tour of Zhujiajiao Water Village and Shanghai. We were a group of 6 staying pre-cruise at the Marriott City Centre. Mary was our guide and was extremely sweet and pleasant. She was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of useful information. We first visited the water village. It was about an hour outside of town but the ride was most comfortable and Mary was very entertaining along the way. We had a comfortable van and so traveling was quite pleasant. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we strolled along the canal. It was fun to see all the stands with food and trinkets. The area is so clean and colorful! We also visited a beautiful home with a gorgeous garden where we took lots of pictures. After that we took a boat ride on the canal which was so enjoyable. After the water town we went back to Shanghai. We went first to the French Concession area where we had a delicious lunch of dumplings and fried rice and vegetables. Mary ordered for us and everything was wonderful. Then we went to Old Shanghai which was fascinating with beautiful old buildings. We are so amazed at the beautiful architecture of China. From there we went to the Bund which was a great contrast to Old Shanghai. We saw and did so much in one day. This was a wonderful tour. We all had an outstanding time. We were even sent very thoughtful thank you gifts the next day. This is a top notch company and I highly recommend Mikki Tours if you are visiting Shanghai.

Everyone in our tour group agreed our private tour guide Melody was awesome. Her command of the English language was great and was willing to answer our questions, share information, and provide us with the best tour possible.
