Discover Shanghai's breakfast culture by walking through the backyards of traditional stone-gate houses (Shikumeng) which soon will be demolished due to on going urban renewal projects.

    Your last stop of the tour is at Dahuchun near by the People Square, one of the oldest dumplings restaurant open since 1932. You will taste the curry beef soup covered fresh Chinese parsley, the signature dish here.

Have another 5 stars Jim! Our family of 4 had a great time exploring Chinese cuisine in the French Concession with you and it was the standout highlight of our first visit to China. Jim speaks great English and not only found us great food to teach us about and taste but spoke about the changing face of Shanghai for first time visitors. Hard to pick out single highlights but I now know that you add flavour to noodle broth from the toppings you choose and the tea tasting was a revelation to our taste buds.

What a wonderful way to spend the morning walking and eating our way through the french concession - our guides were amazing and brought us on an incredible food journey that we wouldn't have found otherwise!
