Take part in a shibori tie-dye workshop in Arimatsu and learn all about this ancient Japanese art from a local guide. The experience starts with a walking tour around the old city, so you can admire its original Edo-era buildings, shop for souvenir shibori art, and visit the Tie-Dyeing Museum where you can see where you can see demonstrations of experienced tying craftswomen. Afterward, you'll head to your workshop to create your very own shibori tie-dye masterpiece. Choose from two options when you book online.     Our guide, Taka-San, provided an excellent tour of Arimatsu. Her knowledge of the history of Shibori in Arimatsu was complete and interesting. The tour was thorough and the time went by very fast. My wife and I enjoyed the day completely.

    This is a full day tour starting from Nagoya Station, our guide Fumiyo-san is very friendly and speak perfect english. She took us around Arimatsu and explain historical sites very well and took us to the Shibori museum for our workshop. We had a lot of fun and really enjoy the course. For lunch we went and have Kamameshi which was super deliciousssss. Thank you so much from my mother and i. We have a very (wonderful) experienceful time in Nagoya.
