The best of Lima in a day! Visit the sanctuary of Pachacamac, archaeological city built from 200 AD until the arrival of the Spanish conquerors in 1532. Visit the Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Moon and others. Then, we will have lunch at a local restaurant in one of the most popular neighborhoods of Lima. The sights of Lima were fascinating! Our driver Cristian was great. However, the lunch was definitely sub-standard. Though our guide Luca was very knowledgeable, he was not really in tune to our older group's physical needs and interests. Apparently none of us had been made aware from the tour description of the amount of walking required.

Lucas was a phenomenal and knowledgeable tour guide. We saw and learned so much about Lima and the culture of Peru. We experienced the Pachacaman ruins, a city tour which included the catacombs of the cathedral of San Francisco, a Peruvian meal, and the park of the Reserve with a magic water show. We would highly recommend this tour to those who wish to experience the highlights of Lima.
