The Shrimp is sourced from local shrimping families at their boat docks a few hours before your shrimp boil to choose the largest, freshest, wild-caught local shrimp available. Mister Gregory, "The Shrimp Boil King of New Orleans" grew up in the Gulf South shrimping and boiling and advocating for wild-caught Gulf Shrimp and the "eat it to save it" culinary approach. Great food produced by an amazing local chef. Entertainment was fun, very tongue and cheek. We got a drink at the bar next-door prior to the dinner, knowing that it was not provided at the venue. The shrimp was delicious and freshly caught that day. The dessert, coffee and cake was to die for. Just a great experience. Chef Gregory was a reason to visit New Orleans. His passion for the city he lives in is inspiring.
