The booking fee includes the costs of booking your tickets such as charges for payment processing. It also covers the provision of our customer care center for processing your order, and all charges imposed by our suppliers.

We thought we had to meet the shuttle on the main road by our B&B in Cocles (see review for that), but they drove up the road to pick us up right in front of the B&B. We really appreciated that because we didn’t have to drag our luggage down the unpaved road (not that that would have been difficult). This was very convenient.
We had read about shuttles leaving people behind if they weren’t at the meeting place within 5 minutes of pick up time, so we were prepared to be on the main road with time to spare. The shuttle was early and waited for us outside our B&B gate. We proceeded to pick up a group of about six more from another lodging, then we were on our way to the border at Sixaola to enter Panama.
The assistance paying the Costa Rica exit fee online, crossing the border, going to get our Panama Visa stamps, paying the entrance/exit fee, then meeting our next driver was very helpful. That driver dropped us off right at the dock in Almirante to catch the boat to Bocas Del Toro. We had been given a wristband when we were in the shuttle and this signaled the gal in Almirante that we were with Caribe Shuttle. We wouldn’t have known what to do if we tried to do it all independently.
I feel bad that I’ve forgotten our driver’s name. I do recall Kevin who was with the other shuttle van that had others in the big group from the Netherlands that included the six in our van.

We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
