Mount Etna is the highest active stratovolcano in the world. We propose to spend a day with us in a small friendly group to discover a beautiful nature, endemic flora and fauna and the amazing environment of Mount Etna. We will pick you up in the morning in the certain meeting point (8.30 piazza Stesicoro 32, Catania or 9.15 piazza S.Alfio in Trecastagni - PLEASE SPECIFY WHERE). On the way to Etna we will stop on a village for a coffee break and to buy food for the lunch time. We will drive to reach the altitude of 2.000 above sea level. At this altitude we will start our moderate hike off the beaten tracks (approx. 3 hours) to admire the fascinating landscape of the Valle del Bove, the biggest caldera of Mount Etna and its moon like deserts. From there we will enjoy breathtaking views of the summit craters and the surrounding landscapes facing the Ionian Sea. We provide for shoes, trekking poles, wind stoppers Tour available all year long.

Very bad tour I ordered one tour and got a tour that did not fit for my needs very disapoiting Will never ever travel with your company.

We were collected by Alessio from the centre of Catania, he began to describe Etna history on the drive to a village. We stopped to grab sandwiches and drinks before being driven up to the start point. All necessary equipment was provided including walking poles and warm jackets. It was a cloudy day but still felt very special to be on the mountain. Some tricky bits of terrain to manage but Alessio was great at giving tips to make it easier. Several stops to enjoy the views and catch our breath. Ernesto, the lead guide did wander off very quickly near the end and most of the group couldn't keep up so we were grateful for Alessio keeping us on track. Driven back into Catania and Alessio gave more stories about Etna and recommendations for things to do in Sicily. Overall, a great experience!

Really enjoyed this trip, the guides were so knowledgeable about the area and clearly passionate. This trip took us away from the crowds and a hike with varying terrain. I would recommend to everyone. Can take your own sandwiches or buy a very nice sandwich at a shop enroute. They also provide shoes, coats and walking poles.
