From Nicolosi to Rifugio Sapienza (1900m a.s.l.) you will see an amazing lunar landscape surrounded by lateral craters, lava flows and a huge basalt mine, everything mixed with a native vegetation

Our driver and tour guide, Teresa Valvo, was excellent. She shows a passion for her job, is good humored and gives full explanations of what you are seeing. She is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend her. We had a morning tour of Mt Etna. We had such a great experience that we extended our time to see Alcantara Gorge! Thank you Teresa ☺️

We did the Etna tour with Teresa. With her background in geology and nature studies she provided a lot of value background. She worked hard to make sure we had a good time yet had the flexibility to adjust to our preferences.
