Explore Mount Etna on tour from Catania! You will be introduced to the landscapes and geology of the Volcano from our naturalistic and passionate guide. Following a hiking route up to 2000 meters, you will have the chance to admire forests, craters, lava formations, and scenic views of the mountain. You will visit a volcanic cave using the equipment provided from us (helmets and torches). After the trekking, you will stop at a nice Chalet, where you will enjoy a rustic lunch made with local products (starter and first course) together with a good glass of  Sicilian red wine. It is possible to arrange, upon request, a suitable dish to vegetarians and coeliacs. Then we will move to the amazing Alcantara River Gorges to discover more of Sicily's natural beauty. The tour is in Italian and English. Upon request also in Spanish and French.

I want to start by saying that we had so much fun with this group. My girlfriend and I are students, so we had a €10 discount and that was a nice surprise. Teresa, our guide, was the best thing about this whole thing. She was very professional, prepared to answer all our questions, and a nice and fun person altogether. We could really tell she loves her job! She came pick us up at our hotel on time, and we went straight to the Etna. For lunch, they brought us to this nice little place on the volcano. The food was decent and the wine was good, considering it was included in the price! After that we went to Alcantara and toke a dive in the freezing river. I would recommend anyone to do this. At first you would think that only a madlad would do this, but if you stand in the cold water for more then 20 minutes you will get used to it and will be able to do it. At last, i want to say that we could have done all this on our own, but it wouldn't have been the same. Thank you to Etna Experience and especially to Teresa!
