  • Mount Etna, Catania, Italy
    This Excursion takes you to the highest Volcano in Europe. We will explore the south side of mount Etna, on one of the most amazing paths that the volcano has to offer. We will also visit the most famous lower ancient craters (around 2000 mt) where we will walk along the rim of the old crater. It is also possibleto go to the top craters (around 3000 mt). We will have a picnic lunch near the crater. I will bring you back to your hotel shortly after lunch.

Guissepe is personable,knowledeable and professional. On our tour to Etna he shared much information about the volcano and its origins. He knew all the right spots to take amazing pictures and where to stop just to enjoy the beauty of the landscape. His knowledge of endemic plant and animal species is amazing. He also has great knowledge of food and shared recipes and also great restaurant recommendations in Ortigia, where we stayed. He also shared much about Siracusa and the way of life. He is an excellent driver and my wife and I could not ask for a better guide.

What a special day we had in the company of Giuseppe visiting Etna. We were picked up on time from Ortigia and driven to Etna, with lots of information about Sicily and the areas surrounding the volcano. The initial climb was quite steep, but we were never made to feel bad when we needed a rest. We were treated to lots of information about geology, nature and wildlife. The views were incredible and well worth the walk. I thoroughly recommend Giuseppe and this experience ????
