It has been considered one of the most beautiful villages of Italy. Visit of the medieval wash house and the magnificent cathedral. Afterwards you will have some free time for shopping and lunch. In the afternoon travel to Caccamo and visit of its castle. Built in the Norman period, on a steep rocky spur, this work by the Chiaramonte family is one of the Island most important, charming and best preserved feudal castle, besides being the biggest. Caccamo is a pretty medieval town at 520 meters above sea level, which stands on a hill at the foot of Mount San Calogero. Built in 1131, you can admire the famous mosaic Christ Pantocrator from the inside; the Medieval wash-house; the "Osterio Magno" and the magnificent promenade. Tatiana and Giuseppe (driver) were terrific. Tatiana is warm, accommodating, and shares all her extensive knowledge about Sicily, cephalu and caccamo castle. She is very passionate about Sicily. She showed us lots of hidden gems in Cefalu and caccamo castle. She also recommended amazing things for Palermo. Even though it was a rainy day Tatiana filled our excursion with sunshine! She is a Sicilian gem !

This tour exceeded our expectations ! This private tour was organised by Rainerie travel in a very good condition Mercedes sedan. But the best part was the tour guide Tatiana who was so knowledgeable, passionate and kind. In our so many years of experience of taking private tours all over the world she definitely stands out. Also our driver Josefa who was ever smiling and shared with us his knowledge of cooking Italian cuisine. This tour itself is fantastic, Cefalu is so beautiful….. I would surely recommend this tour if you are in palermo and want to experience Sicily.

Very good tour of Cefalu and Caccamo. Tanya is a good guide to these two sites and Giuseppe is an excellent driver.
