Upon request, your tour can be customized. First stop Monreale, the famous Arab-Norman village. Located on the slopes of Monte Caputo, from here you can also admire the entire Conca d'Oro. Admire the beauty of the cathedral's gold mosaics and visit the 12th-century Benedictine monastery. The driver will provide you with information about Cefalù during the 60-minute journey to the city. Visit the ancient medieval village of Cefalù and stroll through its narrow streets. Visit local attractions such as the Mandralisca Museum, the Duomo, the Lavatoio and more. You can enjoy a spritz cocktail and snacks in a room with a sea view. Finally, we will return to Palermo, hoping to have left some beautiful memories of a special day/evening in your hearts.

    You will be dropped off in Piazza Guglielmo II. Here you can visit the beautiful cathedral of Monreale. It has been included in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites and is considered one of the most important medieval churches in the world. The mosaics of the cathedral are something simply unique and perfect. It is also possible to access, for a fee, different areas of the cathedral, such as the terraces. Adjacent to the cathedral is the monastery of San Benedetto. The cloister of the monastery has a square plan in Romanesque style, characterized by more than 90 columns decorated with mosaics and Romanesque capitals. In the center of the cloister there is a garden, with a fountain in the shape of a palm tree from which water flows. Also near the cathedral is the interesting diocesan museum. From Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II you can see the Duomo and admire the famous marble fountain called Fontana del Tritone. Don't miss the Belvedere!

  • Cefalu, Cefalu, Italy
    The itinerary to see Cefalù starts from Lungomare Giuseppe Giardina and follows it to the beginning of via Vittorio Emanuele, where the houses begin. From here a walk through the small narrow streets, the ancient houses, the little shops, the restaurants and the ice cream parlors. Halfway along Via Vittorio Emanuele is the medieval wash house, which is accessed via a lava stone staircase. Continuing beyond the wash house, you arrive at Porta Pescara, an opening from which you can see the sea. Shortly after Porta della Pescara on your left you will find Piazza Marina with the pier of the old port. From the old port you can see the most fascinating part of Cefalù: the houses with balconies directly overlooking the sea. Continuing on the main street, Corso Ruggero, after a few meters you will find yourself in the town hall square in front of which you can see the Cathedral of Cefalù. In addition to the village, Cefalù can boast one of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily with white sand and crystal clear waters.

Absolutely the most beautiful day from Palermo. Monreale and Cefalu are spectacular and not to be missed. Salvo, our driver, was fantastic. He was punctual, courteous and spoke good English. The cathedral in Monreale is breathtaking and Cefalu as picturesque in person as in the photos. We highly recommend this outing!
