The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of the city. The tourist is guided by a Foodie, a local buddy able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible. Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

We really enjoyed our walk through the heart of Palermo with the lovely guide, Giuseppe. His passion and knowledge were infectious, and the places we visited to sample the famous street food were so interesting. The group of 9 was manageable and meant that Giuseppe was able to connect with each person. We have seen enormous tour groups since doing his tour and were so grateful not be be in those huge groups! We would thoroughly recommend this tour. We really felt that it was a good introduction to Palermo.

We had a great experience with Giuseppe, who told us a lot about the city. The food was great, but be aware that a lot is deep-fried :)

Giuseppe was a very knowledgeable and accommodating guide. The food choices were excellent. The cost was very reasonable.
