The Valley of the Temples is an archaeological site in Agrigento (ancient Greek Akragas). It is one of the most outstanding examples of Greater Greece art and architecture. The area was included in the UNESCO Heritage Site list in 1997. Through this tour, you have the chance to admire the magnificent Doric temples, as the Temple of Hera (Juno), the Temple of Concordia, Temple of Herakles (Hercules), the Temple of Zeus (Jupiter) and Sanctuary of chthonic deities. Valley of Temples in town of Agrigento, Sicily has several Greek temples...one of which, the The Temple of Concordia is 97% original Temple components! This may be the best preserved Greek temples in all of Europe. If you look at the UNESCO symbol on historic sights around the world, one will see a Greek Temple. This Temple is Concordia!
