    Upon arrival visit the archeological park in SELINUNTE which is among the most extensive and impressive of Europe: it includes several temples, part of the excavated ancient city and a beautiful landscape. Selinunte is also one of the most evocative places in Sicily, never having been built over in modern times. In the 5th Century BC it was second only to Syracuse.

    Next will be a visit of an EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) Producer including a tasting of local olive products. The prestigious "Nocellara del Belice" olive variety has been grown here for centuries. An unrepeatable combination of the local soil and microclimate gives origin to DOP certified table olives and extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO). Drive back to your hotel in the afternoon.

    Our trip to Sicily booked through Exclusive Sicily Tours with Connie Costa was incredible and amazing. From the pick up at the airport to each of the cities we visited, Siracusa, Ortigia, Ragusa, Modica, Noto, Taormina, Mount Etna, Cefalù , Mondello, Palermo, Monreale, Connie booked us a thorough and enjoyable stay in Sicily. The hotels were luxurious, restaurants delicious, sites glorious, mountains spectacular, we could not have had a more enjoyable stay in Sicily.

    Very good walking tour of the historic center of Palermo with guide Karolina. Visited many key sites and got a good introduction to the history and culture.

    I chose this tour because I really wanted to visit an olive oil producer during my first trip to Sicily with my husband. I don’t really have that much experience booking tours and wasn’t sure what to expect, but we were very lucky to have gotten Domenico as our driver and guide. First, Domenico took us to Selinunte to visit the ruins by the sea and explained the historical significance. He anticipated that there would be a long line on a hot day and bought our tickets in advance. My favorite part of the trip was visiting Frantoio Li Pietri, where Giuseppe and his wife Rosamaria made us a beautiful lunch and told us how they produce olive oil. They were warm, gracious hosts and the experience exceeded our expectations. We are so glad that Domenico chose their frantoio to make our experience special. This tour was not your cookie-cutter tourist experience where there is no love in the experience. Everything had a special touch and felt a bit off the beaten path. Thanks, Domenico! We would recommend this tour to anyone.
