From a naturalistic point of view, it is the most exciting tour as we will cross the small and typical municipalities of the area such as Calatabiano, Castiglione di Sicilia and Linguaglossa to reach Piano Provenzana. Upon returning, our journey will continue to reach the Alcantara Gorges: a lava canyon crossed by icy waters. Here there will be the opportunity to taste typical local products inside the botanical and geological park and use an elevator to reach the canyon.

The walking path allows you to visit the ruins of the Hotel delle Betulle, entirely covered in lava and to admire the craters whose eruption destroyed the entire station tourist attraction of Piano Provenzana.
