We visited the winery in the evening where Vincenzo and his wife Liliana welcomed us at the Baglio Florio for a wine tour and dinner. Overall, we had a wonderful experience which we will remember well.
The tour is quite long as Vincenzo showed us the wine museum (which was very interesting but needs some refurbishment) and the vineyard fields. The tour was not informative at times, but we had a good time chatting with Vincenzo. Then, he shared with us some of the Adamo wines; here he gave a lot of information about the different wines and how they are made and we really enjoyed this part. Liliana accompanied the wine tasting with an incredible range of freshly-made food, from traditional Busiata to pane cunzato alla trapanese, from bruschetta with their own paste to other local Sicilian delicacies and sweets. We could see that the food was prepared from the heart and both Vincenzo and Lilian spoke enthusiastically about their passions.
