Since 1998, Vincenzo, Vito's son, raised by the smells of musts and climbing the "mountains" of marc of the grapes processed at the Florio plant, immediately manifests his vocation for wine, he is the one who takes care of the company and relaunches the family brand, together with his wife Liliana. The building was erected at the beginning of the 19th century, a historical architectural-engineering complex of the Cellar and now also a Museum, tastings of organic wine and oil from the Adamo farm, celebrate the entrepreneurial action and worker heroism of the twentieth century. The wine museum, where you can buy food and wine excellences, is a structure that combines history and food and wine, to discover the winemaking traditions of the past, among the wonderful scenarios of Sicily. The historical path is taken care of by the owner Vincenzo Adamo - agronomist, who will accompany you through the supply chains and the indigenous flavors and aromas of Sicily.

We visited the winery in the evening where Vincenzo and his wife Liliana welcomed us at the Baglio Florio for a wine tour and dinner. Overall, we had a wonderful experience which we will remember well. The tour is quite long as Vincenzo showed us the wine museum (which was very interesting but needs some refurbishment) and the vineyard fields. The tour was not informative at times, but we had a good time chatting with Vincenzo. Then, he shared with us some of the Adamo wines; here he gave a lot of information about the different wines and how they are made and we really enjoyed this part. Liliana accompanied the wine tasting with an incredible range of freshly-made food, from traditional Busiata to pane cunzato alla trapanese, from bruschetta with their own paste to other local Sicilian delicacies and sweets. We could see that the food was prepared from the heart and both Vincenzo and Lilian spoke enthusiastically about their passions.

This wine tour was 100% the highlight of our 10-day trip to Sicily. We stayed in Trapani and drove to Alcamo to meet Vincenzo and Liliana. Vincenzo gave us a beautiful tour of their winery and shared generous servings of their best wines. We also had a delicious Italian lunch, prepared by Liliana, that we will dream about for a long time. Thank you, Vincenzo and Liliana, for making us feel right at home. We will be back!

Scelto per caso questo tour tra diversi a disposizione nella zona, siamo rimasti colpiti dalla simpatia e semplicità di Vincenzo e Liliana, che ci hanno accolti come in famiglia, con i racconti della storia della vecchia azienda del Florio che fu poi degli Adamo, ma soprattutto con i loro piacevolissimi vini e la loro cucina tipica. Il luogo conserva antiche testimonianze della vinicoltura e non solo, a partire dalla metà del 1800. Un'esperienza da non perdere.
