Other than a missed communication between Sam and Viator leading to a late start, the 2 days were amazing. He gave in depth explanations at each site displaying an intellectual curiosity about the unknowns of the past. Highly recommend.

I was fortunate to meet Sam in 2008 when I first visited Angkor Wat. He is incredibly friendly and conscientious. What struck me most, however, is his knowledge and passion for the temples of Angkor. We learned more in those few days than we could ever imagine. Since then, I have gone back to Sam to lead my parents and brother through the temples during their visit in 2009, and I looked him up again earlier in 2018 to take me back to the main temples as well as visiting more remote locations. I cannot say enough about Sam - you will be lucky to have him lead you around these remarkable landmarks!

Sam was an excellent tour guide who gave very in-depth accounts of each temple. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects; he took us to temples when there were less tourists. He was also very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend him for anyone who is looking for a tour guide in Siem Reap.
