We all had absolutely fantastic time on so many levels. The first thing to note is that we went in April which is the hottest month of the year in Cambodia, so it was brutally hot which made the E biking the right choice.
The great thing about our guide is Mr January is that did not just have an intimate knowledge of the places we were visiting but taught us a whole lot of new hacks on our iPhone that made our photographs absolutely amazing.
He also picked out the absolutely best locations to take photographs and showed us a few other spots that no one else seemed to know about that really made the day and the memories special.
It wasn’t too crowded on the day we visited Ankhor Wat for the ‘dawn reveal’, but Mr January found the perfect spot where we had an unobstructed view.
The E bike component was heaps of fun and our 12-year-old daughter had a fantastic time . We weaved through the forest to get to some of the more remote temples and then we had a amazing lunch in a local restaurant with some delicacies we hadn’t tried before including deserts, and he showed us how and where they were made in the local village.
All in all, it was really fun but also full of history, wonder and local interaction. Sitting down for a fresh coconut juice at the end with the locals was also heaven. And amazing photographs to remember.
Highly recommend.
