To share in the every day living of a typical Khmer family is a unique experience. It might not be for everyone- no ensuite with hot and cold running water or flushing toilet, but there are bathroom facilities available. This is how much of the Cambodian population live. Your hosts are kind, friendly people who will welcome you to their world. The many children you will meet love having visitors. Bring your sense of humour, your best stories and songs for the kids. The food is plentiful and authentic. Don't feel offended if your hosts don't eat with you. That's normal in Cambodia - you are their special guests. Kosorl will ensure you are involved in the daily activities of the community as well as showing you the many wonders of Cambodia. If you're up for an adventure, this could be life changing. Certainly it will help change the people you meet and interact with. Why not give it a go? I did and will continue to do so.
