A full day (upto 10 hours) tour of the remote, mystical and rarely visited temples of Koh Ker and Beng Mealea by shared minibus. Up to 10 individuals and couples etc may ride in the mini-bus. The tour includes an English speaking guide, who has been trained and has certification from the Apsara Authority who operate the temple complex. The transport is a 12-seater mini-bus, with 2 seats reserved for ice-box and guest hand baggage etc. Complimentary cold towels and iced bottled water are available on the bus. Guests can bring a packed lunch, or eat at the cafes nearby the temple, but guests are warned that the cafes are significantly more basic than in town.

We can pickup from ALL Siem Reap city hotels. PLEASE ENSURE you provide us with your ACCOMMODATION (HOTEL) DETAILS. Otherwise we cannot pick you up. We need your hotel details at least 24 hours before pickup time. The tour leaves our office or waiting lounge at 8:30am sharp. Pickup is from 7:40am to 8:10am. Since a more exact time cannot be given, we suggest our customers to be ready at the hotel lobby by 7:40am.

This was an excellent and very well organized daytour! We only booked the night before and within an hour I had received an email from the tour organisers to confirm my details for the next morning. The day started with a prompt hotel collection at the beginning of the allocated pickup window. We were then taken to the main hub of Siem Reap Shuttle Tours to collect other passengers; we were able to wait in a cafe to purchase drinks or chill out until all passengers arrived. The two temples were beautiful, secluded and extremely fascinating. Fortunately there were only 5 of us on the tour so it felt like a VIP experience with Mr Sopheap Rath, who was very funny, charming, and extremely knowledgeable in all facets of Cambodian history. Mr Sopheap Rath shared many interesting stories of his own upbringing and educational history, and an extensive history of the temples. He was happy to answer all of our questions. Mr Sopheap Rath kindly took us to two extra temples as well, Prasat Neangkhmao (Neangkhmao Temple) and Prasat Pram (Pram temple). All temples had very few tourists due to the off-peak season, so we were able to take many amazing photos with nobody else around. Mr Sopheap Rath kindly helped us to take many photos in all locations. I must also thank the driver who was always ready with cold towels and drinks for us, on what was a very hot day. Mr Sopheap Rath sent through a list of the visited temples, and group photos at the end of the day. Thank for for a fantastic day Mr Rath.

We had a great day visiting Koh Ker and Beng Mealea with Sopheap and our driver. Sopheap has a great sense of humor and provided interesting facts about the temples, Buddhism, and Cambodian culture. He and our driver had cold water bottles and chilled washcloths for us which was a huge plus with the heat. While we only expected to stop and see the two main temples, we stopped at two more plus the quarry for Angkor Wat and Beng Mealea. I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in seeing these temples further outside Siem Reap!
