If I could give 10 stars for this trip I would. This has been the absolute highlight of our time in Cambodia and a truly memorable authentic experience. We did not feel like tourists but rather friends welcomed into Paren's home village. You will experience the Cambodia that happens behind doors in the houses of locals. .... and knowing you are supporting local village businesses and education enterprises is an added bonus. Thankyou Paren for welcoming us so generously to your village.

The Cambodians are wonderful people, and this trip showed us a part of Cambodia that was very special to us. Our guide was Meng, what a fabulous young man and a fantastic guide, and Mr Roth was our driver, who was great. Meng, it was a pleasure to meet you and learn about the local culture. After visiting the local market, which is a must, we went on to Kompong Phluk floating village. It's the dry season now, so there is no floating village because of the water level, but this did not matter. We had a fantastic time. Once out on the lake, we visited one of the floating restaurants, which was great. What a great tour. Thank you.

The Kampong Phluk Floating Village Tour, in my case lead by tour guide Win and tour driver Tha, was a great day out on the river that was both relaxing and informative as I personally learned quite a bit about Cambodian culture (while in their care)! Win is very knowledgeable, personable, and engaging which in totality assures a great tour! Tha is both conscientious and attentive as he ensured our safe travel throughout the day (which included embarking and disembarking several boats/boat eatery)! In tandem these two gentlemen are true ambassadors of Cambodian culture as they consistently informed, regaled, and secured our group’s wellness! I give these two, five out of five stars!!!!!
The Cambodians you meet during this tour are warm and friendly people who are also very hard working! Sustaining a livelihood while living along side of a river (and for some months within the river) is both difficult and challenging and yet these people do so with great aplomb! It needs to be witnessed!
Do yourself a favor and have this experience; and if you can do so, request Win and Tha! They’re the best at what they do!!
