  • Preah Vihear Temple, Cambodia
    Today you will depart early from your hotel, we are picking up your group from your hotel at 5.30am please ask your hotel for the breakfast boxes. We will stop at Anlong Veng small town for our breakfast and refreshment. Anlong Veng small town was the last stronghold capital city of Khmer Rouge Army before 1998 Mr Pol Pot died in this area. There is a popular historical site for your visit as well. It is Ta Mok’s House. His houses are now impressive for tourists. Then we will continue our journey to visit The incredible Hindu temple of Preah Vihear. It’s on top of the DangRek Mountain Range, very close to the Thailand border. You can see the Thai army from the Cambodia site, you will take about a two hours tour here. Before going up to the temple center, you will need to buy your temple ticket. And we will need to rent a pickup truck, this is my account, to go up to visit Cambodia Preah Vihear temple.

  • Koh Ker Temple, Cambodia
    In the Afternoon: after a lunch break, we will continue to visit Koh Ker group temples. Koh Ker is a remotely interested Hinduism Monuments, they are located northeast of Siem Reap city for about 125 km by road. Koh Ker was established by King Jayavarman IV from 921-944. King Jayavarman IV has built lots of temples over here. There are two names for this historical site. One was called Chhoark Koki and another called Lingas Puravida. It’s the best journey to combine this tour with Prasat Preah Vihear temple. There are many temples to visit but for a few hours tour we will select just the major ones for you. You are able to visit Prasat Koh Ker or Prasat Thom, Prasat Bram or the five towers of the temple, Prasat Neang Khmao, Prasat Chrab, Prasat Damrei and Prasat Krachab. We also can combine our visit to local farms like Durian Farm, Pepper Farms, Bananas Farms, Cashews Farms and Tapioca Farms. A beautiful countryside with scenery of rice fields and villages.

I organised a private tour to Preah Vihear and Koh Ker with Hok as the tour guide and his brother as Lee as the driver. It was a great tour and both sites are worth visiting. Preah Vihear is a long drive from Siem Reap so enjoy the views on the way. Hok is very knowledgable about the temples and also highlighting interesting things we saw on the drive through the Cambodian countryside to reach the sites. I would recommend getting in touch with Hok for tours around Siem Reap. I also booked a second private tour to Beng Mealea and the lady temple which was a lovely half day tour.
