I did the one day small group sunrise tour on my first day in siem reap. After seeing the small circuit, I wanted to see banteay srei and the big circuit but couldn’t easily find a one day guided tour …. After contacting the staff, they found me a guide with very late notice. My guide Chuop was amazing - great information on the temples we were seeing but also on Cambodian history and culture and geography. He was happy to answer my questions all day long and never got tired Also yesterday’s tour had missed out on the Terrace of the elephants and the terrace of the leper king because the guide said it was crowded as they will still packing up from new year festivities . Even though it was not on my itinerary today, Chuop kindly took me to both of these also and explained them all. He was very helpful with taking photos for me which is very hard as a solo traveller. He was also very flexible with my lunch options and gave me many choices. We ended up having Khmer rice noodles and it was an excellent experience not having to go to the tourist restaurant like I (understandably) went to with the bigger group. His English was excellent and he took great care of me throughout. We were never rushed and we could create our own itinerary …. Choosing to stop off at roadside places of interest Posting this here as info in case anyone else thought one day of temples might satisfy them …. And then changed their mind and wanted to tailor a tour for day two

The guide Sannish was well experienced and well trained . Very humble patient and a nice person to deal with. He is extremely polite , knows how to anticipate ones needs in terms of breaks , coffee breaks , wash room breaks and the timing of the tour he spaces out very well

Our tour of the temples including Angkor Wat was booked prior to leaving England,with this firm.Angkor Wat is regarded as a must see place to visit whilst in Cambodia. But the experience was made even more magical by our driver and our tour guide. Firstly we were collected from our hotel by our driver Mr Handsome, he was immediately friendly and welcoming, he explained about obtaining passes to visit the temples and assisted us in this process. We then picked up our guide Mr Makara, he was also engaging and friendly and both spoke excellent English. The tour of the temples was beyond beautiful, but what added greatly to our experience was Mr Makaras’ knowledge and his obvious love and pride on showing us all aspects of his culture in regards to the history and meanings of what we we’re viewing. On leaving each temple our driver was waiting and made sure we were provided with water, and was concerned about our comfort. If you are considering visiting Siem Reap to visit the temples make sure you get Mr Handsome and Mr Makara fantastic team and made our visit very enjoyable.
