We propose a water taxi to Signal island, specially made for cruisers. We pick up you directly at the cruise ship terminal. Get off the beaten tracks and swim with turtles in a paradise island from Noumea. Food & drinks not included 4 hours to discover "wild side" of the south lagoon. Unknown from the crowd of your boat, it is the best spot to snorkel and swim with turtles in their local environment, at only 30 minutes from Noumea with our water taxi. You will be able to enjoy by your own the magnificent white sand beach, historical trail around this island and beautiful, natural scenery brimming with marine, bird and animal life. This tour is reserved for people under 70 years old and in good physical condition. It's a physical inflatable bumpy boat ride to go to the Island. You will snorkel by your own means. No guide, just personal instructions given by the skipper.

This experience was wonderful. I got to snorkel with turtles and tropical fish. It was lovely and the island was lovely. You need to be aware that you need to buy some food beforehand to take on to the island. A picnic lunch would be lovely. The staff and water taxi drivers were lovely guys and very humorous. This would suit people of any age. I would choose this over sitting on a hot bus driving around Noumea any day.

Amazing and hot ....taxi boat there ....so bring plenty of water to drink and sunscreen make sure it's water proof....flippers would be handy and water shoes

It was pretty much as expected. Loading of boats was chaotic. The organizers had booked too many people and couldn't get everyone on. We had several large people who took up multiple seats. This left a pregnant woman with a small child to share a spot with another adult resulting in a potentially dangerous situation for the child due to the rough ride. The island was quite crowded as it was Sunday and many families were celebrating. The seas were very rough where the turtles were, but we snorkelers anyway. Many large turtles and a black tipped reef shark were seen.
