The food was great and covered a lot of the local neighborhood. The tacos were tasty and the desserts were great. Tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable.

We went on this tour on our first full day in Puerto Vallarta and that was an excellent plan. We found so many places in the old town that we went back to. The 3 hour tour has so much food that we left stuffed. We tried 5 different tacos and learned so much about the taco culture and what is considered breakfast vs dinner tacos. It was a “breakfast” tour, but the tacos were mostly what I, as an American, would consider lunch or dinner tacos. Only one had eggs. The rest were all different types of meat. We even had the option to try Chanfayna, beef liver, heart and lung in a birria sauce. We also tried fresh made tortillas, agua fresca, ice cream and some candy samples, and took some fresh bakery with us. Our tour guide took lots of pictures that were sent to us after the tour and showed me how to mark the stands we liked the best on my Google maps so we could come back. I am one of those people who dislike the taste of cilantro, and our guide made sure to ask for my tacos without it. She also pointed out the different sauces and told us about the heat level of each one. Everything was so good! I highly recommend this tour. Just come hungry and in good walking shoes.

The tour was nothing short of an amazing experience. Getting to see the life of the people of puerto Vallarta and getting to taste the delicious foods is a must. The tour was guided by an energetic and interactive woman named Karla. She truly made the experience so much better through her exciting and captivating personality. The whole family had a great time on the tour!
