The Louvre Museum is a treasure trove of art and history. As soon as you cross the glass pyramid, you are transported to a world of iconic works. We were fascinated by classics like the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and the Victory of Samothrace. The architecture of the museum is also incredible, a mix of historical grandeur and modernity. Even if the visit can be long (the museum is huge!), each room reserves new discoveries. Prepare to be amazed at every corner of the museum.
Council: If you have time, take an audio guide or take part in a guided tour so you don't miss anything about the masterpieces. After this immersion in art, a fly boat ride on the Seine is the perfect way to discover Paris from another angle. We opted for an hour-long cruise, and it was magical! Seeing the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, and the historic bridges while floating over the Seine is a magical experience. The audio guide (in several languages) was very informative and enriched our experience. The sunset over Paris is absolutely spectacular from the boat.
Council: If possible, take the late-day walk to enjoy the view of the illuminated city. The Louvre Museum and a stroll along the Seine are must-see activities during your stay in Paris. It is a perfect combination to explore the art, history and beauty of the city. We had an unforgettable day, and we highly recommend both experiences! Many thanks to all the museum team and those who made us discover the magic of Paris on the water.
