What can I say? After attending 4 Elvis shows in my lifetime I finally met him in person or the closest thing to it. After reading the reviews about how old the Main Theater in Pigeon Forge is I was concerned as to how the Elvis impersonator would be. Honestly, it was a very old small theater but very inviting and friendly….more personable. Once Stewart started singing and moving those hips I was taken back into time many years ago. The last show I saw was in the 70’s in Las Vegas. Stewart was right on. His movements, his looks, his mannerisms, and his singing were very closely matched to Elvis. When he asked for song requests from the audience I asked him to sing How Great Thou Art and he did. That made my night. I was very impressed with Stewart sharing his belief in Jesus Christ with everyone and how loved Elvis’ Gosoel sings. He honored two older gentlemen that had served in our military. When he told them Welcome Home it brought tears to my eyes. I had texted my family before the show and told them that me and their dad were ending our vacation (our last hurrah) going to see Elvis. They know how much I loved him and still do. As we return home to California I will always remember the time I met Elvis in Pigeon Forge. Stewart Chapman is an excellent Elvis impersonators. The best that I have seen. He connects with the audience in this nice low key intimate setting. But that ticket. You won't regret it.
