An great day out for couples and families. You take a self guided tour of the folk park and caste and experience what life was like in rural Ireland in the past. Staff are all very helpful and friendly and we had a great chat with "The School Teacher" and "The Blacksmith" as well as the musician playing the Tin Whistle. Children witll love the animal pens and some of the activities organised during the day. Make sure to get the timetabl;e on the day you vsit so you dont miss out.

We really enjoyed our time here - so much to learn about the depth of history in Ireland. Amazing castle but the grounds are a sight to see also.

Brought my wife here last year during a trip to the area. The Castle was restored in 1954 and has been a must visit tourist attraction for visitor to Ireland. The folk village houses, school and pub give you the opportunity to see Irish life in medieval times. The pub is a real functional pub to enjoy a few drinks or an evening socialising
