    Show your ticket at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and head inside. Browse the castle, a restored 15th-century tower house. Walk around at leisure or join a castle tour for a deeper insight into the building. Admire the furnishings, tapestries, and artworks. Afterward, stroll around the folk park, an enchanting recreation of a 19th-century Irish village, with reconstructed farmhouses, cottages, and shops set around a village street. See the school, doctor’s house, grocery, drapery, printers and other shops, all furnished as they would have been at the time, meet the costumed animators who bring the village to life, and visit the pub, which serves food and drinks (own expense).Take a stroll in the Regency Walled Garden, explore our magical fairy trail and meet a host of adorable native Irish animals. Finish your visit by browsing the gift and craft store or relaxing in the traditional tea rooms. Your experience concludes when you leave the complex.

Everyone at the park was so kind and engaging as we took in the park. There were people singing, playing instruments, blacksmithing, woodworking, and more! I talked to a woman about knitting and yarn for quite some time, and another gentleman about one of the mills on property. The shops were a great opportunity to pick up a few souvenirs of our trip, and the artisans were all very willing to talk and answer questions. I loved every minute!

Buntatty Castle and Folk Park are located in Buntatty, a town located to the South of Galway, in Western Ireland. We came here to do the Medieval Banquet and before we walked around the Folk Park and saw the castle, which was very nice. The castle was built in the 15th century and nowadays, you can see all the main castle. A very beautiful and romantic place. (See also Buntatty Castle Medieval Blanket)

Nous avons visité ce château médiéval très bien meublé ai si que le parc ou l’on retrouve de jolies maisonnettes retraçant les différents métiers de l’époque très bien meublées également. Il y a aussi des animaux dans le parc.
