The instructions for obtaining the ticket were terrible and I was refused entry with my family group who had bought tickets with another provider. I showed the ticket you had sent with the bar code and it was not accepted. So it was a waste of money and a great disappointment. I would like to request a refund. This all took place during a torrential thunderstorm and no flexibility at the entry gate was shown. The general communication from Trip Advisor was very poor.

Tripadvisor cancelled our visit at 1:22am the morning of the booking. The person I spoke to was extremely rude, gave me one word answers. Then he stopped replying all together.
We waited over 1.5 hours for his reply, only to be told it was too bad and that they had informed us our trip was cancelled the night before...at 1:22am…when we were asleep…for a booking that was 10am.
We were then told to “go wait in line” where we stood in the boiling heat for over 2 more hours. The whole point of pre-booking a skip the line tour was to avoid this. We only had 2 days in Rome and tried to plan ahead so we would be able to see everything.
We missed out on seeing other sites in Rome because we lost 4 hours we hadn’t accounted for.
When I asked for a refund, I was told to deal with Tripadvisor not him.
When I asked for a contact number, I was ignored.
This experience ruined Rome for me unfortunately.
Thankfully I had been to Rome before, but for my husband this was the first time and he missed things he wanted to see.
We also used Tripadvisor for our Eiffel Tower experience and it was also very hard to deal with the booking system there too.
Very confusing.
I don’t intend on using Tripadvisor again unfortunately.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! BEYOND upset. We purchased these tickets over a month ago for our honeymoon trip. I got an email 8 hours before our entry time saying the had cancelled our experience. I still have not heard back from them regarding my refund either. Do you know how hard it is to get a ticket to the colosseum, forum, and Palantine hill at the last minute on a Sunday in June during PEAK tourist season? It’s next to IMPOSSIBLE. These people really ruined a day that was supposed to be amazing and fun. Instead we missed out on something we may never get the opportunity to do or see again.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
How great that you want to share your experience! Your feedback helps other travelers to make a better choice.
