    Meet your guide by the Madrid City Tour Information Center next to Prado Museum. Remember to check in 15 minutes in advance of your activity. Enjoy a guided tour without queues with your skip the line ticket. Visit the most important paintings throughout the Museum. Admire great artworks by el Bosco, el Greco, Velazquez, Goya and Rubens. Discover the aim of the original building and why it changed to hold one of the most important art galleries in the world. The current exhibition holds more than 1.000 paintings of four different centuries. Given that for a first time visitor this can be overwhelming, let your guide show you around the site and learn about some of the most important works and its backstories. Did you know the royal collection represents the museum’s foundation? Once your guided tour finishes you can stay inside the museum for as long as you wish.

This morning we had an exhilarating tour with Yanny. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and personality were infectious —/ not to mention his kindness and generosity. He had our group walk with him literally n front and to the sides of paintings like Tintoretto’s Jesus washing the feet so that we could see the table in the painting move from side to side. He talked with excitement about the details of the paintings he revealed his favorite works such as a beautiful statue, sculpted with amazing detail. Our two hours seem to pass so quickly we could’ve stayed with him throughout the day a few years ago he had moved from Cuba to Spain. His knowledge seem to reflect a lifetime of learning and enthusiasm for the workshop in the Prado. We would go on any tour again with Yanny.

Yanny was a fantastic guide - really made me look at the paintings differently, and had such a deep and detailed knowledge of the different artists and eras - whilst keeping it light and fun! Could not recommend more!
