    Here you can observe giant tortoises in their natural state. This spot is open for a self-guided walk, as a National Park Guide is not required to visit this spot. The reserve has thousands of square meters of high pastures and Scalesia forests, an endemic and plants of the Galapagos. These green highlands are also populated by many bird species like short-eared owls, Darwin finches or vermillion flycatchers.

    This tour is peculiar because in this place, we can observe the giant terrestrial turtles and photograph them freely. This species is especially very large and impressive. There is also a restaurant, snack bar and souvenirs shop.

    Dette var vel verdt et besøk, da vi fikk se kjempeskipadder og lavatunneler. Likevel ikke verdt å kjøpe billetter på forhånd til 9 dollar per person, da billetter på stedet koster 10 dollar, og vi uansett måtte betale 5 dollar i tillegg til denne billetten på Tripadvisor. Anbefaler bare å dra dit og ikke kjøpe billett på forhånd. Dette tilbudet på Tripadvisor er bare mer kostbart. Følte oss lurt.
