  • For safety reasons, children who will not have turned 8 by the end of this year as well as infants are not permitted to enter.
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. ID may be requested to certify the age.
  • Hand bags/bags/luggage must be left at the cloakroom before the visit and picked up at the end of the visit.
  • The visit takes about 35 minutes. The climb is on foot and there are 251 steps.
  • The visit is not recommended for people with cardiovascular and muscular disorders.
  • The floor is uneven and slippery
  • The guide will wait at the meeting point not longer than 5', then the tour starts. If you are late you can try to call the guide and reach the group at the entrance of the Leaning Tower.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Guide was knowledgeable and passionate of Pisa. She shared history and stories that I had not read about. The only suggestion I have is to tell people to meet at the gate, not outside McDonald's .

The guide Elloise was really good. Good experience. Not much lines, so “skip the lines” was not that helpful for the price paid. All in all a good experience. Thank you ????

Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history of Pisa. The information she shared with us on the Basilica and leaning tower was really interesting and she snapped some pictures of us - which is helpful when it’s just two traveling alone. We were very happy with this tour and our guide. She knew the history of the leaning tower as far as attempts to correct the lean in the past and also the current attempts. Climbing the tower is a bucket list item, of course, but also learning about the church was amazing and an unexpected part of our visit.
