Nach anfänglichen Zweifeln an der Notwendigkeit von Vorbuchungen für den Besuch der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Florenz, u. a. auch den Dom und den Turmaufstieg wurden wir durch die riesigen Warteschlangen am Ort schnell eines anderen belehrt. Ohne die Vorbuchung hätten wir unseren eiwöchigen Aufenthalt vorwiegend mit Wartezeiten verbracht und das bei hohen Temperaturen im Freien. Viator war dabei eine große unkomplizierte Hilfe!

La chiesa monto bella ma l’acquisto dei biglietti online è fuorviante, abbiamo scoperto solo arrivati alla cripta (che è compresa in un’ altro biglietto) che bisognava aggiungere 7 euro ai 19 già pagati… il sito è poco chiaro leggere con molta attenzione!!!

In the Siena area, this is a must-see. You can feel the past when you walk inside. The works of art. The stone. Just wondering who and when would have walked where you were. Even if you aren't religious, you can't deny that the Duomo has a spiritual feel to it. I think you should get a ticket that includes the crypts. CAN'T MISS!!!
