We had a great time with our knowledgeable guide Brano, he made tthe trip interesting an the hours flew by. We also did the UE extension, that was well worth the money. The only small downside was that the oldest Skoda didn't feel like starting that chilly morning, so we got the newer Favorit. Thank you for a great time!

The extended Post-Communist Bratislava Tour with Authentic Slovakia was amazing! This day and tour was the highlight of my time in Bratislava. Guide Peter was cheerful and friendly, punctual, keeping the program interesting and at a good pace - with lots of unique personal insights into life in Slovakia. I highly recommend Authentic Slovakia and would absolutely book more of their tours should I return to Slovakia.

Wow, what a wonderful way to experience Bratislava. Peter was our guide, and he was amazing. If it wasn't for this tour, we would have simply gone into old town, taken a 1 hour tram around the highlights, and walked around before returning to Vienna. Instead, we got a tour of parts of the city we would have never seen, got a local perspective on the city, and of course received a wonderful history lesson of the rise and fall of communism in the country, how various businesses and markets worked, as well as a lesson on local architecture. I honestly can't say enough, because without this tour our visit to Bratislava would have been superficial and inauthentic.
