Visit of Old castle, New castle, St. Catherine church, the Holy Trinity square and much more. Maria Theresa established here the first mining & forest academy in the world.  Time for a tasty lunch (not included). Have a real gastronomic experience in Microbrewery Erb - great Slovak food with combination of top quality Slovak beer from natural ingredients. Beers: ERB lager, special dark or the exclusive limited edition. What will be your favourite? Some free time to buy souvenirs or just strolling around. It's time for a great coffee & home-made cakes, let's go to the Cafe 4 Sochy to enjoy it, well to fall in love with this place.  History lesson not only about mining. Lots of fun with your guides.

Great tour experience. Our guide was fantastic and very accommodating. Banska Stiavnica is a beautiful town and this tour is well-worth it to see more of Slovakia beyond Bratislava. This tour was a perfect day-trip.

This tour was a lovely snapshot of a charming town in the middle of Slovakia. Peter was a fantastic tour guide, and he provided so much information about the town itself as well as the history of Slovakia and its place in the region. I was so impressed, I would not hesitate to tour with Peter and his company again!

Our guide Peter was awesome. We learned so much from him about Slovakia and the region. The countryside is beautiful and the town is breathtaking. If you have the time to do a day trip in Slovakia this is a must do.
