Arrived in Adelaide on a late flight and drove the short distance to Hahndorf's Stables Boutique hotel. It's a lovely hotel (a converted 1800s stable complex). Spent the day around Hahndorf and made a quick trip to the Whispering Wall dam (well worth it). Went to 2 cellar doors and did tastings at Bird in Hand and Shaw and Smith. The grounds at both vineyards are spectacular.

Danny was a wonderful tour guide, just a very genuine fellow, attentive to everyone’s wants/needs. He made the day informative and pleasant. The meal at Hahndorf was superb with all of us agreeing the Apple strudel was the best! Loved learning about Adelaide and the areas we visited, it left a lasting impression.
