    After meeting our guide the first food stop is in a place at the center of historical center in Corfu Town called "the saint" where we will have a typical greek brunch. The brunch includes the traditional greek cheese pie, spinach pie, custard cream pie, ginger beer, baklava and then famous greek yogurt.

  • Lazaris Distillery & Artisan Sweets, Souleika, Greece
    Our second food stop will introduce our visitors the local kumquat fruit. We will try the kumquat liquor, the kumquat flavored greek delights and the "mandolato" a corfiot sweet made of nougat.

  • Agiou Vasileiou, Kerkira 491 00, Griekenland
    The only traditional dairy shop left in Corfu Town since 1950 that you will have the opportunity to taste the famous Corfiot fresh butter that they make every day, a pudding and galaktoboureko (cream pie).

  • Sweet 'N Spicy Bahar Shop, Corfu Town, Greece
    In this stop we will have a chance to introduce our visitors to the first ingredients and spices of the Corfiot food and have an olive oil tasting as olive oil was major income of Corfu for centuries. The owner of the shop will give us tips and some secret advices of cooking some of the famous greek foods.

    Our tour would end up at a restaurant where we will have a seated lunch/dinner. We will try the local traditional food of Pastitsada and Sofrito. Our clients will try ouzo or wine and can relax enjoying a meal at the end of then tour.

Our guide Ariti was superb host and we loved our private gastronomy tour very much! Great experience to take during your stay in Corfu town. You will get to know a lot about the city, history and, of course, food! We got many good and tasty gifts to our family and friends during the stops. We went to Corfu in the offseason, and my husband and I were the only ones on the tour. Electra was wonderful, telling us the history of Corfu as we went to one great food stop after another. We learned so much about the area and the best places to visit. We highly recommend!

We loved getting a local's tour and tastings. I'd go again. We learned a lot about the culture and met new friends. The food was delicious.
