    After meeting our guide the first food stop is in a place at the center of historical center in Corfu Town called "the saint" where we will have a typical greek brunch. The brunch includes the traditional greek cheese pie, spinach pie, custard cream pie, ginger beer, baklava and then famous greek yogurt.

  • Lazaris Distillery & Artisan Sweets, Souleika, Greece
    Our second food stop will introduce our visitors the local kumquat fruit. We will try the kumquat liquor, the kumquat flavored greek delights and the "mandolato" a corfiot sweet made of nougat.

  • Agiou Vasileiou, Kerkira 491 00, Griekenland
    The only traditional dairy shop left in Corfu Town since 1950 that you will have the opportunity to taste the famous Corfiot fresh butter that they make every day, a pudding and galaktoboureko (cream pie).

  • Sweet 'N Spicy Bahar Shop, Corfu Town, Greece
    In this stop we will have a chance to introduce our visitors to the first ingredients and spices of the Corfiot food and have an olive oil tasting as olive oil was major income of Corfu for centuries. The owner of the shop will give us tips and some secret advices of cooking some of the famous greek foods.

    Our tour would end up at a restaurant where we will have a seated lunch/dinner. We will try the local traditional food of Pastitsada and Sofrito. Our clients will try ouzo or wine and can relax enjoying a meal at the end of then tour.

Really enjoyed our foodie experience with our guide, Ariti. She helped us experience many local shops as well as local dishes. It was a small group and we were all curious about the culture of Corfu as well as the history. So she was very open to answering our questions and giving us some easy-to-understand history lessons. I would highly recommend.

Our guide Ariti was superb host and we loved our private gastronomy tour very much! Great experience to take during your stay in Corfu town.
